Meeting Minds Masterclass

Engage with other Oxford alumni at a range of professional networking events. For more details about future events, sign up to the events mailing list.

Formerly known as Professional Networking Events, the Masterclasses are thought provoking evenings, designed to provide a platform for expert speakers to explore the hot topics on the world of work. We have previously had panels on the gig economy, lectures on working in advertising and discussions on how our lives have changed with mobile technology.

You have 80,000 hours in your career. How can you best use them to help solve the world's most pressing problems?

Join Benjamin Todd (Balliol, 2008), CEO & Co-Founder of research organisation 80,000 Hours, who will present the most important findings from their research since 2011. He will cover the global problems that are the most pressing, how you can best contribute to solving these problems, and how to plan your career based on your individual strengths and situation.

It’s especially aimed at those who want to ambitiously focus on social impact. The lecture will be followed by a networking drinks reception.
