Stimulating academic sessions
The full-day academic programme will highlight the latest Oxford research across a breadth of disciplines. Topics include the application of Virtual Reality technology in medical sciences, European politics, location tracking with mobile data, and the sound of ancient Greek and Roman music.

Stunning social events
Catch up with friends and make new ones at one of the many college or department organised events on Friday night. Enjoy breath-taking views of the city at our Saturday evening drinks reception and black tie gala dinner. Round off the weekend with brunch at the British Ambassador’s Residence.

Brasenose College

Corpus Christi College

The University of Oxford's Law Faculty invites Oxford alumni, students and friends to a drinks reception at the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer offices. The event will bring together alumni living and working in Rome, and more widely within Europe, and provides a splendid opportunity to catch up with old friends whilst developing social and career networks. Our Director of the Institute of European and Comparative Law, Professor John Cartwright, will give a brief talk about recent developments in the Law Faculty at the start of the reception.

Department of Physics

The Department of Physics at the University of Oxford is pleased to invite all alumni & their guests taking part of Meeting Minds 2018 to our event.

Prof Luisa Cifarelli (President of Centro Fermi) will give a special talk about ‘The lost notebook of Enrico Fermi and the discovery of neutron induced radioactivity’, followed by a drinks and canapes reception.

If you’d like to find out more about it or register, please get in touch as soon as possible with our Alumni Office to avoid disappointment, places are VERY limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis. The event is free, but please only book if you are committed to attend.
