OUS Victoria

OUS Victoria (OUSV) is one of the University of Oxford’s 200+ official alumni groups around the world.

The group was established in 1996 and is based in Melbourne, but welcomes alumni from all over the state of Victoria.

We are a vibrant and friendly group of 400-500 alumni with a diverse age range. We meet on a regular basis at formal and informal social events.

Our regular events include our monthly Tuesday Tipple after-work drinks, our quarterly lunches with a guest speaker, and bi-annual golf days.

Our flagship event is our annual dinner, to which we regularly welcome around 100 people, to hear a guest speaker and to catch up with other alumni.

We also work closely with the Cambridge Society to arrange events for the Varsity Match and Boat Race, and also have networking drinks with alumni from the Ivy League.

We also host a Freshers' Farewell party annually to give new students the opportunity to meet other freshers and alumni before they leave Australia. Freshers returning to Melbourne are encouraged to join the group and form an important part of our membership basis.

For more information, please follow us on Facebook (we’re there as OUSV) or contact our Secretary if you’d like to join our newsletter mailing list and become a Member.
