Alumni Office response to coronavirus (COVID-19)

Following government recommendations, Oxford’s Alumni Office is now operating remotely, with staff working from home. 

We will continue to operate 'business as usual' as best we can: providing you with access to our digital benefits and services currently on offer and answering your queries as soon as we can. Keep an eye on your inbox for our regular emails (or sign up here if you haven’t done so already), and follow us on our social media channels for updates, just search for @oxfordalumni. We have also developed some handy FAQs below if you have a query. 

In these challenging times, know that we continue to be committed to supporting the alumni community. It’s at times like these that we are reminded of how important these communities truly are!

FAQs

Will I still be sent my alumni number? 

Yes. We are still able to process alumni number requests, however there may be a slight delay so please bear with us.

How soon can I expect to receive an Alumni Card?

At the moment, we are not able to produce alumni cards. We will store your request, and it will be actioned once the office re-opens.

My online account is locked. Can you unlock it?

Yes. Please email communications@alumni.ox.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.​

I’ve forgotten my password. Can you help me reset it?

Yes. Please email communications@alumni.ox.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I want to register for JSTOR access through Oxford Alumni Online account or the Oxford Alumni Community

Will alumni events continue as planned?

Meeting Minds Europe (Berlin, Barcelona and Stockholm) and the NYC Alumni Weekend have been postponed (future dates to be determined). You can find more information on Meeting Minds FAQs.

The Oxford & Cambridge Boat Races have been postponed. Check with your local alumni group regarding their scheduled events.

We will let you know about future alumni events, for example our Masterclass series and Meeting Minds Oxford, as soon as plans are clear. 

What about my Oxford Journeys’ trip?

COVID-19 is having a significant impact on our Oxford Journeys programme. If you have already booked onto a trip, the tour operator responsible for the running of the tour will keep you updated on any developments in line with FCO advice.
