Enjoy the company of fellow Oxonians in the beautiful grounds of Earnscliffe, the official residence of the British High Commissioner to Canada at the Oxford University Society of Ottawa's annual garden party.

Earnscliffe is an official National Historic Site of Canada and, as former home to Canada's first Prime Minister, John A Macdonald, is one of Ottawa’s most storied sites. However, as an active diplomatic establishment, its security measures are strict, so it is not generally open to the public. This year’s party will, therefore, be a rare setting for alumni to meet, to renew old friendships, and to make new ones.

Canapés, Pimms, and other refreshments will be served and the event will also be open to other British universities’ alumni in the National Capital Region. Dress code is business attire.

The group are grateful to the High Commissioner, Susan Jane le Jeune d’Allegeershecque, for hosting and for opening the gardens for the event.

Please note that no parking is available in the immediate area; attendees will need to make arrangements either to be dropped off or to park elsewhere and to walk to the site. Friends and family of alumni are welcome.

To reserve places, please download, complete, and mail the group a copy of the registration form to the postal address on the form, to arrive no later than Thursday,12 July 2018.

For any enquiries, please email Harry Corrin.
