The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Malaysia would like to invite members and guests to come up close and personal with the Group Managing Director and CEO of Malaysia Airlines, Mr. Peter Bellew at the launch of the Society’s Great Personalities Talk Series.
Peter joined Malaysia Airlines on 1 September 2015 as the Chief Operations Officer from RyanAir. Under his tenure as CCO he oversaw parts of the airline’s restructuring program that led to a 6,000 job cut. Peter officially became the CEO of Malaysia Airlines on 1 July, 2016 after changing seats with former CEO Christopher Mueller during one of the most challenging periods in the history of the airline.
As CEO, he continues to oversee Malaysia Airlines’ restructuring plans and hopes to make history by making the greatest transformation of an airline ever. Peter crossed the 300th day mark as CEO of Malaysia Airlines in April 2017 and will share with guests his experience in office, his own assessment of the company’s performance under his leadership and his future plans for the carrier.
After his talk Peter will take questions from the floor and an opportunity for networking and refreshments will follow.
