Scholarship Opportunities

At Saïd Business School, experienced and developing leaders alike are studying how successful organisations appreciate the written and unwritten rules of the game, and how they are re-writing the rules in business management and strategic thinking. 

The School’s various postgraduate and executive education programmes challenge, stimulate, and inspire participants to question the usual management models and ways of thinking, widen their individual perspectives, and better understand their own challenges and capabilities. The School is currently offering the following scholarship opportunities and reduced fees to University of Oxford alumni: 

Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship and 1+1 MBA 

The Oxford Pershing Square Graduate Scholarship supports up to five extraordinary 1+1 students per year in realising their potential as future global leaders by fully funding tuition, college fees and living expenses for the MBA year of their programme.
The Oxford 1+1 MBA is a unique, two-year experience that combines the depth of a specialised Master’s – in subject areas such as environmental policy and management, education, social policy and intervention, and African studies – with the breadth of the School’s top-ranking MBA.

Executive MBA

Two scholarships are available for matriculated University of Oxford graduates who wish to begin the Executive MBA in January 2015. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a 50% remission of the £64,265 course fee.
The Oxford Executive MBA is an ideal route to board-level performance for successful leaders and managers. The programme’s 21-month, modular structure would allow Oxford alumni to continue with existing work commitments whilst returning to study. At least two of the programme modules are delivered overseas.

The scholarship application deadline is 30 June 2014.

Oxford Diplomas in Strategic Management

The School offers four part-time postgraduate diplomas for executives, each focusing on a different area of business. The Oxford Diplomas in Strategic Management are each delivered in four modules of four days each, over the course of a year. Ranging from Organisational Leadership to Strategy and Innovation, Global Business and Financial Strategy, these four programmes allow busy executives to study for an accredited Master’s level qualification in a manageable format. Cohorts are incredibly diverse with participants travelling from all over the world and from all different sectors. Typical participants tend to have at least several years’ relevant work experience in their given discipline. 

One alumni scholarship of £1,000 will be awarded to a University alumnus for the 2015 entry. Scholarship applications are due 1 November 2014, Applicants will then be notified by 30 November 2014. The fees for the 2015 programmes are £21,000.

Oxford Management Acceleration Programme

This general management programme provides an overview of strategic management that is relevant to both senior functional executives and early-career managers looking to accelerate their career or compound performance following promotion. The programme is delivered by interactive lectures, group work, case-studies, business strategy simulation exercises and 1:1 coaching. Participant peer groups are cross-sector and international, and will interact with faculty from across the Business School and wider University, resulting in both an academic and very practical experience. 

The Oxford Management Acceleration Programme is delivered over three short modules, allowing alumni to continue working while immediately applying the course teachings. The programme runs twice a year and programme fees are £11,000. Oxford alumni are eligible for £2,000 bursaries.
