We want to help keep you up to date with what’s going on across the University from news to events and lectures to travel. So let us know how you’d like us to contact you, by updating your preferences.
Whilst your days at university may be nearly over, your connection with Oxford will last a lifetime, and you don’t have to lose all the benefits of being an Oxford student. There are many services that you will still be able to access and some new perks that students don’t get!
Your Card entitles you to a range of discounts throughout Oxford and online, including 15% off at Blackwell's and 10% off at the OU Shop.
You can also use the alumni number (8-XXXXXXXX) on your Card to sign up for your Oxford Alumni Account.
Through this account, you can subscribe to a range of email newsletters to keep up to date with news about Oxford and other Oxonians, as well as JSTOR access and the full range of exclusive discounts.
The Oxford Alumni Community is a web platform designed to help alumni connect with each other all over the world through its closed directory. If you are a matriculated student/alum, you can search for other alumni through the directory, post and search for jobs, post events and photos. You can also share professional insights, as well as look for mentors and professional opportunities.
Benefit from University’s support at any stage in your career, wherever you are in the world. Attend fairs and workshops, meet with a Careers Advisor (in person or via Skype) and connect with other Oxford alumni at our industry-specific networking events.
Continue to access online educational resources, such as JSTOR, through your Alumni Account.
You can also enjoy discounted rates on short courses at the Ruskin School of Art or the Department of Continuing Education. In addition, you can join one of our global Alumni Weekend events.
As a leaver you will be part of a community of over 300,000 living alumni and you will have the opportunity to continue to meet with other alumni through the 200+ regional groups in the UK and 80 countries around the world.

You’ll need to apply for a Readers’ Card, which is free to alumni. Download a copy of Form A from www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk. You’ll need to apply in person.
