Welcome

It’s almost time for you to join our alumni community – a unique global network of remarkable people, connected by Oxford and working to create positive impact worldwide. As Oxford alumni, you continue to be a vital part of the University. We invite you to continue to learn and engage with fellow alumni wherever you may be.

Firstly, we want to congratulate you on everything you’ve achieved. This is an exciting milestone, and we can’t wait to see what you do next. From new careers and further study to travel, entrepreneurship and public service, the paths that Oxford graduates pursue are as broad and diverse as the community itself. You can read below how one recent graduate, Carys, navigated her first few years as an alumna.

After you complete your course

We'll email you later in the summer to get you set up with an alumni online account. From there, you'll be able to update your contact details, access exclusive discounts and order an alumni card if you weren't able to collect one at the fair.

You'll then be able to sign up for events, networks and groups to start to meet the rest of our global community.

Later in the summer, you'll receive an email asking you to activate your alumni online account.

This account will allow you to manage your communication preferences, claim discount offers and access alumni benefits such as JSTOR. (You can check your eligibility here.)

If you weren't able to make it to the Leavers' Fair to collect your alumni card, you'll also be able to order one to be sent in the post, via your online account.

While you're still a student, we'll send emails to whichever email address you have listed as your primary contact in Student Self Service.

Once you've completed your studies, we'll start to contact you using your non-Oxford email address listed in Student Self Service, so please remember to make sure this is up to date before you complete your course.

Unfortunately, you will only be able to collect your alumni card at the Leaver's Fair if you pre-ordered it using the form that was emailed out to you.

Don't worry if you missed it. You just need to keep an eye on your inbox later in the summer for instructions on setting up an alumni online account, where you'll be able to order your card to be posted out to you.
